The Valmiki Ramayana is preserved through images in the Ram temple under construction in Ayodhya. The main 98 verses of the six Kands (from Bal Kand to Lanka Kand) of Valmiki Ramayana are engraved on the lower platform of the Ram using graffiti.
In order to consecrate Ramlala at the Ram Temple in January, work is going on at a fast pace to complete the important works under the first phase in the next 120 days.
A member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust told the press that the construction work on the first floor of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple continues in full swing. The work to complete the important works of the first phase continues till November and it will be better if Diwali does it.
He said the idols are made based on the stories mentioned in the spiritual mythological texts on the pillars, pedestals, and other places in the Ram temple.
He said the important construction works of the first phase include sanctum sanctorum, five pavilions, a ground floor, a lower platform, and an eastern entrance also the Ramkatha is engraved on the lower platform which contains 98 frescoes based on the 98 main verses of Valmiki Ramayana.
There are a total of 24,000 verses in the Valmiki Ramayana. Last month, temple construction committee chairman Nripendra Mishra said the country's top astrologers had said January 21, 22, 24, and 25 as auspicious times for the temple trust to dedicate the Ramlala idol.
On the other hand, Parmanand Giri Ji Maharaj, another member of the trust, said that a request would be made to the Prime Minister regarding any auspicious date regarding the Pran Pratishtha program.
Sources said a committee consisting of Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Treasurer Govind Giri Ji Maharaj has been set up and given the responsibility of considering who should be invited to the dedication of Ram Lalla's statue. It will be done. He said that in this, importance would certainly be attached to the saints.
